Procrastination

I admit that I always procrastinate. It's normal. Every teenager or maybe everyone has done this. I'm really lazy to do schoolwork especially homeworks but sometimes I love making projects. I still remember the times when I write my reflection and that it's going to be passed the day after. Not doing my term paper because I never listened to Mrs. Tornalejo when she discussed on how to do our term paper. I don't like to spend so much time for schoolwork and I'd rather sleep than study for a quiz. Just this week when we had our FINAL EXAM, I never opened my book in CLE, never studied for Journalism and just stared at my Chemistry book. I can't seem to bring myself to study so I made use of my stored knowledge during the exams. Anyway, I wouldn't see the results but I'll just check out my report card. Good luck to me though. As of now, I'm still cramming. It has become a part of me already but I don't regret cramming at all because I still enjoyed during the times that I was supposed to be doing homeworks, projects or studying for a test. Life is too short to make your brain suffer, it's better to enjoy while I'm still young because when I get old I'll be working and I will have no time for myself anymore

No Strings Attached

Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher) are two friends who keep bumping into each other after years apart from each other. Emma and Adam meet again through their mutual friend Patrice, when Emma is a resident in a local hospital and Adam is the assistant on a Glee-type show, with aspirations of becoming a script writer. Adam takes down Emma’s phone number, but forgets to call her. Six months later, Adam becomes distraught, when his eccentric father (Kevin Kline), who used to be the star of a TV show called “Great Scott” is having a relationship with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa. Determined to ‘get back on the wagon’, Adam starts calling every woman in his cell phone. The next day, he wakes up after a drunken night to find out that he text-messaged Emma and came to the home she shares with some other residents, including Patrice. Emma leads Adam to her bedroom to retrieve his pants, when the two of them wind up having sex.

Because Emma does not believe in love – she believes that ‘no two people were meant to be together forever' – Emma proposes that they have casual sex with each other, setting some ground rules for each other to prevent their relationship from becoming too serious. At first things go well, but then Adam starts becoming jealous of the possibility of Emma being with another doctor, Sam. Although denying that he is jealous, Adam starts presenting her with gifts, which she rebuffs. Adam becomes more distraught when his father asks him to dinner with Vanessa on Adam’s birthday, where they announce that they’re planning on having a baby together. Emma, who accompanied Adam to the dinner, berates the couple while defending Adam. Adam eventually convinces her to go out with him on a date on Valentine’s Day. Things come to a head when Emma starts becoming too uncomfortable about being on a date with Adam. Adam tells Emma that he loves her, but she grows angry, telling him he should go out with another woman who ‘isn’t going to hurt you’. Adam drops Emma off at her hospital and drives off.

Six weeks later, a spec script Adam had written for his show and submitted through Lucy, the production assistant on the show, is being filmed and Adam is set to get a writing job on the show. Emma, meanwhile, has become distraught at not being with Adam, which is compounded by her younger sister's upcoming wedding the next day and her widowed mother arriving with a new boyfriend. Emma tries calling Adam, but Adam rebuffs her on the phone. Emma realizes she wants to be with him, and drives down to his home. Adam, however, arrives home with Lucy, whom Emma takes to be Adam's new girlfriend. Emma tearfully starts driving back to the wedding. Before Adam and the production assistant can have sex, Adam is called by Vanessa – his father is in the hospital, having overdosed on cough syrup. Arriving at the hospital, Vanessa confesses that she doesn’t want to be with an older man, and dumps her dog off on Adam, who talks to his father and chastises him, but tells him he’ll call tomorrow. On the way out, Adam is called again by Emma. Adam angrily tells Emma that she needs to have the conversation she wants in person – which she does; Emma’s friend and resident Shira noticed Adam's father arriving and called Emma. Adam and Emma eventually reconcile, and after a morning of eating breakfast together they go together to Emma’s sister’s wedding. Emma asks, “So, what's next?” and Adam silently holds her hand.

DLSU Lady Spikers

I admire these ladies because of their passion for volleyball. They're strong and smart on and off the court. They never gave up when they lost to UST last year and I think that they really were working hard to win over UST. They were undefeated for the entire season of UAAP 73.

Born This Way

Half of the world thinks that Lady Gaga is a Satanist. I do believe it sometimes. But I adore her because she is just amazing. They say that her songs have bad meanings. I don't care about the meaning. They say that Alejandro and Born this Way says something about God. I think the music video of Alejandro is really disturbing. I can say that the song Born this way was to tell the world that she's born that way and no one can change her.

Still Can't Get over

Last year, I shared about being very obsessed with Asian dramas especially Korean dramas. I don't know why I love to waste my time in front of the television or in my computer to watch a drama. I just love them and when the drama is over, I still can't get over with it.

Recently, I saw a photo in facebook. It was a picture of two teenagers sitting in a bridge, I immediately noticed the guy because he's very cute. I knew it was an Asian movie so I immediately searched for it because everyone in facebook said that it was wonderful. It was a Thai movie, the title is First Love(Crazy Little Thing Called Love). I downloaded it. Watched it. And now, I just can't get over it maybe it was also because I also like the actor, Mario Maurer. I never appreciated an American movie like this. I thought over it and knew that the movies in U.S. were different than Asian movies because I can relate a lot of experiences in Asian movies and life in Asian countries is very similar to what we have here in the Philippines. I mean, we don't have Mean Girls here in the Philippines.

I definitely recommend this to everyone because I believe that everyone has experienced being in love with someone and wish to be better just to be noticed by that special someone and that it's based on a true story of EVERYONE.

These are the most memorable events that happened this school year. Family Day, Intramural and Field Trip. These are just some of the happy moments that I had this year and I wish that I'd have more of these moments next year especially that it's my last year in AC.

I enjoyed Family Day this year because my sister came and it was really fun because I got to spend more time with her and also got a souvenir for this special day with Kristia and her sister.

Well, I'll have to say that the most happiest moment was when we won in Volleyball. Well, we didn't take it as if we shouldn't lose or something, we enjoyed the game. Even though it was very hot during our first game, we still endured the heat and tried our best to win. I'm used to play volleyball so I didn't feel nervous. Only a little maybe. I thought to myself that we were just practicing and that there's nothing to be worried about because Lea Mojo is in our team. The most exciting part was the game with Zebulun(Game 6). We won the first set and it'll be an advantage for our tribe because we need one more set to win the championship. It was a close fight. We were at match point first and we got tied at 24 and being tied at 24 means that we need two more points to win. It was my turn to serve, it was a crucial moment for all of us. I was trembling but I still kept on telling myself that I really need this ball be in. I tossed the ball and hit it so hard and it was a service ace! At that moment I felt so lucky.

Last month, we went to Dao for our exposure trip. It was beautiful there but I didn't enjoy very much because it was very hot and we're not allowed to swim. I also saw a lot of places that's quite similar to Lolet's eco park so my friends spent the day playing charades and we're laughing because we've come as far as Dao just to play charades. I had fun in the playground. I don't know what to call that ride but it was fun because we tried and tried but we never succeeded to fly with it. Maybe it was because we were all tall and it's hard to hang ourselves with that thing.

First Love

Nam (Pimchanok Lerwisetpibol), a young and ugly girl had a huge crush with Shone (Mario Maurer), the school’s heartthrob since her freshmen year. With the help of her supportive friends, she somehow got the chance to have some brief, close encounters with her knight in shining armor. It was not an easy road for Nam, though. Some girls were more beautiful and more talented than her. She thought that she will have no chance to be with Shone. Eventually, she grew up and became beautiful and discovered something more about Shone.

An 8.9-magnitude earthquake hit northern Japan today, triggering tsunamis that sent a wave filled with boats and houses toward land.

Different thoughts are in my mind right now. I'm checking twitter every now and then. I also went to see the CNN updates. Yes. I'm feeling paranoid and that's because different Tsunami alerts have been lifted to other places and I was thinking about the movie 2012. I really am sad about this and I kind of try to hide it by thinking positive and praying for the people in Japan and for the ones who died.

Right now, there are about 2 to 5 countries which are also warned to be prepared. In Hawaii, they saw waves that are about 8 to 10 feet high. I'm so scared right now. I know. Being scared will not help the people of Japan so I'll try my best to gather some courage to keep updated and pray not just for Japan but for everybody to be safe.

Sometimes I feel that life is passing me by. Time is moving very fast. I can't believe that I'm going to be in 4th year this school year 2011-2012. I still remember when I was in grade 3, I was so excited to be in high school. To me, it seemed like it was just yesterday when I said wanted to be in high school but now that I'm in high school all ready, I want to go back to grade school or stay in high school. Seems like I don't want to face a world that is very strange to me. I want to stay in Assumption because I loved it here and sometimes I don't even know why I don't want to leave.

In no time, I'll all ready be in college. All I have to do is to be patient enough and spend a little more moments in this school. I know it's sad. I'm going to have to adjust again to a much wider environment and get used to living on my own.

Summer!

I'm so excited! 4 days left and I'm going to be free again. I always wanted to feel the feeling of being empty-minded. Whenever the school year has started, I'd always have a lot of thought about my unfinished projects, my homeworks, quizzes everyday, group activities and exams.
Every summer, I never have to worry about anything else but house chores and how to make my summer vacation fun. I'll not go back and forth to the city and I'll get to spend every night with my parents. Also that I get to use my computer anytime I want. I can sleep whenever I want. I can sing my heart out or dance around the house like an idiot. These are the things that I can do during summer that I can't do when I still have classes because of school work.
Maybe there's just one thing that I'll miss this summer. My friends. I'm probably going to be free but I'm going to have to shut my mouth about the things that I usually talk about with my friends. But I do wish to have a wonderful summer vacation and that I'll enjoy and learn.

Inspired by Social Studies

I knew the story about the Holocaust before but I never knew that it was done so violently. When we discussed this in our class, I wanted to vomit and I felt very bad. I really think that it's unfair because the Jews are still humans and they are not different from us. Only that they have a different religion from the other Germans. It was said in a film that we watched that in Germany, there were 3600 Jewish lawyers out of 4800. So, I concluded that the Non-Jewish Germans were just envious to the Jews. They were even making fun of the Jews. They starved them to death, burned them alive, made them eat the grass, used for experiments, used Zyklon-B to kill and fool the others that they're going to take a shower when they're going to kill them.

My Sport

I love volleyball more than anything in this world. I enjoy playing volleyball. It's easy to play and it's not that hard to learn the sport and that's why I love it.

I love shoes. But the problem is that I have big feet. Mostly, the biggest sizes of the shoes that I can find here in Iloilo is just size 10. But my size is size 11 to 12. I love being tall but I don't like the size of my feet. I get frustrated whenever I like a particular design and I don't get to buy that.

I love McDonalds. When I'm hungry I go to Mcdonalds. Aside from the delicious food there, it's affordable. I can all ready eat rice in just 50 pesos! and I can eat ice cream just for 25 pesos!

Am I supposed to be scared?

That girl there in the picture Bet you didnt notice it at first. If you did then congrats. We originally took this picture New Years eve right before enjoying an arousing viewing of the hit movie Jenefer’s Body. Cheese and fries all we wanted was to watch the movie and then hang out with Eddy the Iguana. We all decided it would be innocent enough to sit there and pose for a picture on the floor with him. This incredible reptilian beauty. He is a Green Iguana. Full-grown green iguanas are usually between four and six feet, although they have been known to grow up to seven feet long. This includes the tail, however, which can make up about half the body length and, in addition to its green color, has black stripes. Green iguanas, not surprisingly, are green in color, but can be found in many different shade ranging from bright green, to a dull, grayish-green. Their skin is rough, with a set of pointy scales along the iguana’s back. Green iguanas have long fingers and claws to help them climb and grasp. Anyway, After developing the picture we noticed the girl in the picture she looked awfully familiar but none of us could pinpoint who she was. There were only originally four of us in the picture. Then we decided to research it. The girl in the picture died in the house three years before. She fell down. The picture is now therefore haunted. Her image has tainted it.

Beary Beary Cute!

I really love bears! They are so cuddly and huggable. I sometimes treat them like a real baby. I know it's crazy and it's childish for me to act that way. But I just can't resist the cuteness of those cuddly little bears.
